International House offers generous scholarships to new and returning students, and is part of the University of Melbourne’s Narrm Accomodation Allowance for eligible students.

Narrm Accommodation Allowance $20,000 per year for fees, plus moving and living allowances

Commerce at International House up to $28,000 for one year
For eligible domestic students studying Bachelor of Commerce from a regional or remote area. Find out more here and follow instructions for application process
Paul and Angela Wheelton full fees plus living allowance for 3 years
For eligible domestic undergraduate students who have completed school in Australia and experience disadvantaged circumstances. Find out more here.

New students can apply for scholarships via this form International House Scholarship Application 2027: New students
The deadline to submit the form and all documentation is 4 January 2027.
Make one application for International House Scholarships, you will be assessed and considered for all scholarships for which you may be eligible.
Returning students undergraduate and graduate scholarships forms will be available as part of the renewal process for 2027.
Scholarships can be awarded on the basis of academic merit, financial need, community contribution or other criteria.

Friends and Alumni of International House $4,000
For eligible domestic undergraduate students from a rural or remote area
IH 1964 Alumni Scholarship $7,500 for one year
For eligible domestic undergraduate students
RR and MM Officer Scholarship $15,000 for one year
For eligible domestic undergraduate students
Richard Cullen and SK Chan scholarship $10,000 for one year
For eligible international undergraduate students, focussing on female students from China (including Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan)
Frank and Valerie Larkins $14,000 for one year
For eligible undergraduate students at International House
Vi and Pete Peterson $7,500 for one year
For eligible undergraduate students at International House
Lyndal Pascoe, Julian Gardner, Sundarason, and International House scholarships $5,000 to $15,000

Weickhardt and Mavis Jackson academic awards
