Meet Dr Matt Harrison, Lecturer in Learning Intervention

SUPPORT WHILE YOU LEARN

We take pride in the excellent support we offer our Master of Learning Intervention students from enrolment, throughout their studies, and beyond.

Indigenous support and knowledge

We welcome and support Indigenous students and offer a range of support services here at the University of Melbourne via Murrup Barak, Melbourne Institute for Indigenous Development.

The student-led representative body, the Indigenous Graduate Student Association (IGSA), support graduate coursework and research students, enable collaboration between Indigenous and non-Indigenous students and staff and encourage potential future Indigenous graduate students.

LIFE AT MELBOURNE

Located on the city side of the University’s Parkville campus, we are a short walk to the CBD, the famous Queen Victoria Market, cafes, restaurants, shops, theatres, galleries and bars.

Whilst you’re studying in Melbourne, we ensure a supportive environment for all students and offer a range of enrichment activities, including a student mentoring program, wellbeing services and academic skills support.

We offer a low impact sensory space to support neuro-diverse students and staff, including those with sensory sensitives, Autism Spectrum, ADHD or histories of trauma.

Meet our Master of Learning Intervention student: Ethel Hao

ethel hao

International student, Ethel, is pursuing a Master of Learning Intervention with the Faculty of Education. As a sibling of an autistic child and a medical professional, she noticed a lack of resources for children with learning difficulties in Taiwan, her home country, which inspired her to make a difference in this space.
