The Master of Medical Technology Innovation offers a unique combination of innovation, commercialisation and entrepreneurship. This intensive 1-year full-time (or 2-year part-time) program sits at the intersection of engineering, science, medicine and business and is designed for professionals and graduates looking to drive change in this thriving industry.

In this course, you’ll learn how new medical technologies are developed, regulated and brought to market. A defining feature of this degree is the BioDesign Innovation capstone subject, where you’ll develop a real-life medical device from concept through to commercialisation.

Who should apply?

This program equips you with strong technical foundations alongside the entrepreneurial mindset needed in the MedTech sector. You do not need to have prior experience in the MedTech field to be eligible for this course.

Choose your path

This is a 1-year (100-point) postgraduate degree, designed for students with a cognate undergraduate background and/or relevant professional experience.

An optional combined degree with the Master of Biomedical Science will soon be available, allowing you to expand your expertise across both biomedical research and MedTech innovation.
