Start year intake 2027 timeline
What to prepare
The creative task requires applicants to complete and submit a selection project.
Please consult the BFA (Production) Selection Project [PDF] for detailed instructions.
Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by a selection panel of at least two staff members, specific to your chosen specialisation.
Applicants should prepare to discuss:
- Their creative task; and
- motivation for undertaking the course; and
- relevant previous experience.
The interview will run for approximately 30 minutes and will be conducted online via Zoom.
You are invited to present examples of previous work that may support your application, for example, an art or design folio, paperwork created for productions, lighting plans, photographs of previous shows, etc.
How to submit your selection tasks
Your creative task must be uploaded and submitted via the Creative Application Platform (SlideRoom). There is a small fee associated with submitting your task which must be paid at the time of application unless you are eligible for a waiver.
